EVENT
The 3rd International Healthcare Quality Conclave was a Two Day Quality Conclave on the 30th & 31st July held at Epicenter, Gurgaon. This was followed by a one day Post Conference Workshop on 4th Edition of JCI Standards.

The Conclave was organized in association with the Quality Council of India & the Joint Commission International. The sponsorers for the events were Kirloskar Technology (P) Ltd, Siemens and Elekta. Express Healthcare was our media partners.
The Conclave covered the Theme of Quality & Globalization of Indian Healthcare from different perspectives and provided an insight into the following topics:-

The Conclave was attended by delegates from all across the country and the world. The participants included delegates from the Government of Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, representatives from the Quality Council of India & the Joint Commission International, staff of various Public & Private Hospitals & students from prestigious management schools and medical colleges across the country.

HIGHLIGHTS

INAUGURAL SESSION was graced by luminaries like Dr. Shiv Sarin, Ms. Sangita Reddy, Dr. Amarjit Singh, IAS in addition to Dr. Ashraf Ismail and Dr. Girdhar Gyani. A wide arena of words of wisdom on quality and globalization with reference to medical education, corporate world and public health were brought out. The session was very well acclaimed by participants.

PLENARY SESSIONS by Dr. Girdhar Gyani (Role of National Accreditation in Globalization
of Indian health care), Dr. Ashraf Ismail (Role of International Accreditation in
Globalization of Indian health care) and Dr. Narottam Puri (Globalization of Indian Healthcare – Opportunities & Challenges) were the highlights of the two days programmeand provided deep insight to the theme.

PANEL DISCUSSIONS- A great amount of interest, participation and deliberation was generated during panel discussions and organized to culminate each days proceedings. The topics deliberated were Is Health Care Globalization at the Cost of Indian Consumer & Impact of Health care Globalisation on Economy with very eminent and diverse panel.

The Conclave was met with a lot of success. About 300 delegates from across the country and world attended the conference. The relationship of Indian Healthcare Quality Forum with the Quality Council of India & Joint Commission International was strengthened. QCI, Medical Council of India as well as corporate sector promised their whole hearted support to IHCQF for all its endeavours. Indian Healthcare Qualilty Forum launched its official journal titled “Indian Journal of Healthcare Quality & Management” which would be published quarterly and will encourage original articles and papers from Indian & International authors.
