Dr. Yash Paul Bhatia is the Managing Director of Astron Group, the leading Hospital Consulting organization. Dr. Bhatia is a renowned expert in the field of Hospital Planning, Management & Quality in Healthcare organizations. He has to his credit the conceptualization, planning & designing and establishment of many prestigious academic medical institutions, multispecialty and single specialty tertiary care hospitals.

He has been actively involved in the establishment of the Indian National Accreditation System (NABH) under the auspices of Quality Council of India. He was the first Chairman of Accreditation Committee of NABH.
He has servedas the Regional Advisory Council Member of the Joint Commission International (JCI) for Asia Pacific, Middle East, North Africa and Regional Counsellor (International) for American Society for Quality – Health Care Division.
He has launched ASTRON INSTITUTE of SOCIAL SCIENCES, an institution dedicated to skill development in healthcare. The institute is accredited with International Accreditation Organization, USA and courses offered by it are accredited by Health Sector Skill Council of India and Indian Medical Association.
He has been a recipient of many National Awards including National Quality Champion Award by Quality Council of India, Rajiv Gandhi Shiromani Award and Dada BhaiNauroji Life Time Achievement Award.

Dr. Neeru Bhatia, a public health specialist has more than 2 decades of experience of working on reproductive health, MCH and HIV/AIDS. With her expertise on policy making, strategic planning, monitoring and evaluation of Health programs at the National level, she has been working at senior positions with National AIDS Control Organization, Delhi State AIDS Control Society, UNICEF and Plan India. She has been principle investigator to research projects for Government of Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh.

Ashish Bhatia after completing his graduation from Stratford University, Virginia, joined Strategic Health Resources, Atlanta, USA as Project Consultant. As COO of Astron Group has been responsible for execution of projects on Planning and Designing of Hospitals, National and International Accreditation of Hospitals and initiating Academic Projects and International Collaborations of the group with Universities from UK, USA, Australia.

In Planning and Designing, he has been responsible for Project coordination and management of Medical Institutions like Punjab Institute of Medical Sciences, AIIMS Jodhpur, Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences, Sant Nirankari Health City, Central Armed Police Force Medical College and many more.

He has more than 45 years’ experience in the field of HR/Competence Mapping, Learning and Development Policy formation, Business Development, Training and other operationalin Multi states cooperative organization & National Level Organization

Astron is well known name in the Healthcare Quality & Management, Hospital Planning and design and is fast growing in the field of Education in Healthcare and Public Health to enhance the skills of budding students to serve the humanity in the evergrowing career in Healthcare in line with the National Agenda
2. Prior to this worked as Advisor (Human Resource & Industrial Relations) with Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative (IFFCO) Limited, New Delhi, Indian Farm Forestry Development Cooperative Ltd (IFFDC) and Head HR of Cooperative Rural Development Trust(CORDET).
3. Worked as Joint General Manager (HR) in IFFCO Limited heading the HR Department of Marketing Division, having a workforce of 1450 posted at the different locations in Pan India.

She is a Professor and Head, Department Of Community Medicine, Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi and Associate Consultant at ASTRON Hospital & Healthcare Consultants Pvt. Ltd.

She has a vast Experience on Reproductive and Child Health area since 24 years. She has been a Core Team member for conducting “Baseline study on assessing the existing scenario of PPTCT services” in 4 states (Maharashtra, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan) for Clinton Foundation HIV/AIDS initiative. Core Team member of India HIV/AIDS Alliance project on “Identifying Barriers to sustainable access of children to ART centers and seeking solutions to address barriers “in Maharashtra and Manipur.

She also has significant contributions towards National Health Programmes as Principal consultant RCH II Programme. She has trained students from Delhi School of Social Work (since-1996) on Research Methodology, Communication Skills, Interacting with community in context of RTIs/HIV/AIDS and Basics of Community Medicine.

She has conducted HIV/ AIDS Training Programmes and facilitated development of Intervention strategies for high risk groups. She has extensive experience in conducting research in the field of reproductive and child health; in designing and implementation of training for medical and paramedical staff as well as the community.

Prof.Handa, Former Director, Indian Statistical Institute, Delhi was full time faculty member and Consultant for 42 years (Nov 1969 to Nov. 2011) with Statistics Quality Control & Operations Research Division of Indian Statistical Institute, Delhi. He was the Head and Executive In charge SQC & OR Unit, Delhi Centre of ISI (1989-1992) and Sr. Professor, at ManavRachna International University from December 2011.

He has conducted research projects on inventory management of drug stores, optimization of waiting time at OPD, X-ray and Diagnostic Labs and Sterilization chambers. He has extensive experience in conducting operation research, evaluation, training, consultancy and collaborative applied research work in about 600 organizations and trained more than 3000 professionals at different levels in private and public sectors on various areas like linear programming, Dynamic programming, simulation, sequencing, inventory management, Queuing Theory and Monte Carlo Studies.

He has good command over the Applications of modern quality management tools like Statistical Process Control, F.M.E.A., Q.F.D, Measurement Systems Analysis, Taguchi Methods, Strategic Quality Planning (Six Sigma Quality) and has successfully demonstrated in about 100 organizations including prestigious tertiary care hospitals like Safdarjung Hospital, AIIMS. He has published more than 250 technical reports, case studies and research papers in National and International Journals on the application of quantitative methods to real life problem in industry through which he has propagated TQM philosophy
